Our custom PCB production service focuses on the fabrication of bare printed circuit boards to each customer unique design specifications, providing the PCB fabrication foundation for electronics products whether the customer performs their own assembly, uses a separate assembly service, or requires only bare boards for their application. Custom PCB production begins with the customer design data in standard Gerber format, with our fabrication engineering team performing a comprehensive design for manufacturability review before production begins. The DFM review examines the design against our manufacturing capability specifications for minimum hole size, line width and spacing, annular ring requirements, aspect ratio limitations, and other fabrication parameters, identifying any potential manufacturing issues and providing recommended design adjustments that would improve production quality or reduce cost. Fabrication then produces the custom PCB to the exact specifications for layer count, board thickness from 0.4mm to 6mm, copper thickness from 0.5 oz to 6 oz selected per layer requirements, base material from the complete range including standard FR4 for general electronics, FR1-4 variants for different performance and cost levels, PI polyimide for flexible circuits, copper base for superior thermal management, and aluminum substrate for power electronics and LED applications, minimum hole size, minimum line width, minimum line spacing, and board dimensions all customized to the customer design. Surface finish application completes the fabrication with lead-free HASL for cost-effective standard finish, ENIG for fine-pitch component flatness and long shelf life, or immersion silver for high-frequency signal performance. Electrical test verification of net continuity and isolation on every board ensures fabrication quality before shipment to the customer or transfer to assembly.
